hi,

i hate the steering wheel on my e36 323, it feels far to big and feels a bit like your driving a bus and not a car! its got an airbag in it so i reckon itll be a pain to change.

id like to get more of a sporty look (smaller, thicker) but retain the airbag. anyone know how hard this is or can recommend any bmw aftermarket wheels that were options for bmw 3 series such as alpina, or the 'm' decal, or even anything that will look decent.

i have attached a pic of my existing double decker bus wheel. :rofl

thanks.

I got rid of the airbag on my 325 ;)
I replaced my wheel with an M-Tech item, removed the airbag warning from the dash and removed the controller from under the rear seat :)
The only problem you will have is if you have a passenger airbag.
Might not be recommended to remove the airbag but the wheel is a lot nicer IMO.
