A bit of info guys.

I have just purchased the above car and have it at the dealers for a tow bar fitting ( need to get the steam loco's to the track ,they are to big / incontinent to put in the boot ) they have just rung up to advise of a days delay, during the conversation they said they have reprogramed the car to the latest software . does any one know what they may have changed , before I ask them for their version of what they have done



car is late 2008 ( sept ) 320d edition m sport with 18 inch rims
the car has sat nav and idrive ect.

Software update is a standard thing at main dealers, last time our 06 model was in it had an update to the software, this only affected the behaviour of the steering lock. Updates could include any electronic aspect of your car. Don't worry about it - perfectly normal.
