Hi

Does anyone know how to change the MOT reminder date without going to the dealer. My 07 car is showing a statutory test (two interlinked S's) due in March 09 rather than March 10 as it should be. Can this be changed without going to a dealer? I had an E60 530d that allowed you to change this via the iDrive when the dealer failed to do so, but obviously don't have iDrive on the 325d.

Tks & Rgds

I had the same issue with the incorrect MOT month/year but it's easy to correct as follows:

1. Put the key in the slot and press the start button (do not depress the clutch).
2. Using the buttons on the turn signal control stalk.
3. Scroll to SERVICE-INFO with the rocker switch then press then BC button.
4. Scroll to the “Roadworthiness Test” icon using the rocker switch.
5. Press and hold the BC button for 3 seconds until the month is highlighted with a square box.
6. Use the rocker switch to change to the desired month - press BC to store (the year is now highlighted with a square box).
7. Use the rocker switch to change to the desired year - press BC to store.
8. Simples!
