Good afternoon,

Still can't get comfy in this car.... reckon the seat's been crushed by the previous owners, (and I'm no lightweight either).

Any ideas/recommendations for lumber support cushions? Has anyone tried padding out the seat internally? I've had the backs off and it seems there is room - I added a tea-towel to reduce the effect of the metal spring digging into my back. If I get a big bit of foam and wedge it under the seat near the back, will I be compromising the air-bag system or cause it to trigger.

Thinking about possibly getting a new seat - any ballpark figures? Is it a straight swap out?

Many thanks.

...of course I could lose 2 stone and help matters that way, but I need an interim fix. :D

Hi Rob

You need to find a Motor Trimmer in your area , they should be able to insert 1" peice of foam inside the seat no bother.

Or if your handy just get hold of the foam and DIY. Dont remove the seat , just do it in situ .

Matt.
