God how complicated is it to adjust the temperature?!?!

Why are there two nobs to turn with two sets of temperature numbers?

One button is called Max and the other is called Rest!

Which one do people use to change the temperature?....and why have two?:confused

And does the button for de-frosting/de-misting the front windows work via just re-directing air flow or does the front windscreen have filaments inside it to aid de-frosting?

Individual temperature controls for both driver and passenger.

One button is called Max and the other is called Rest!

MAX button turns on the AC function to maximum and lowers the temp. RES or residual lets you have heat for approx 20mins after the engine and ignition is switched off.

And does the button for de-frosting/de-misting the front windows work via just re-directing air flow or does the front windscreen have filaments inside it to aid de-frosting?

No heat elements, just re-direction of air flow as you said.
