I have just put a deposit on a 2005 120d se. I see the car has a aux in for the ipod but how good is the sound from the standard HU as I like it loud????Thanks

Don't get your hopes up too high then. Volume adjustment needed for both ipod and HU.

Judging by the shite i've got in my E92 coupe the HU will be about as useful as a chocolate fireguard!

having said that, my OEM speakers used to give up before the HU so my first port of call was the speaker upgrade
