This intermittent problem has gone on for about 3 months. Several people have had a go at fixing and have not came up with anything.

The fuel pumps and filter have been replaced.

Fault codes have been read and now cleared by main dealer - see attached from the report.

Yes, yes and yes.

The garage tells me 2 fuel pumps have been replaced.

It will turn over and just wont start, sometimes it starts straight away, other times it takes 6 turns of the key before it will start (it turns over every time). Sometimes you can turn it over all day and it wont go, then the next day you try it and it starts first time. It's completely intermittent.

Fault says low fuel pressure at the rail. Every time.

I've been on holiday now and left it with the garage. They said they ran it every day and it ran no problems.

Do you know what the pre supply pressure is when the fault occurs? This could be caused by a number of things but monitoring pre supply pressure would be the first point. The fuel filter could be partially blocked, high pressure pump, rail pressure sensor, volume control valve, fuel pump relay, dde relay, dde or injector spill off leakage too high. The garage are obviously struggling to replicate the fault which doesnt help matters.
