Mornin' all.

I've noticed over the last few weeks (since the cold weather started) that my autochoke (at least that what I think it is) does not appear to be kicking in on startup from cold.

I used to start the engine in the mornings, and it would rev quite high (about 1500rpm I think) for a few minutes before settling down to tickover. Now, it just goes straight to tickover.

Anyone else had this ? Was thinking of booking in to indy anyway for a general diagnostic/healthcheck....

Thanks in advance

Agree with RJB - never had this myself whatever the weather. Worth getting it checked, but doesn't sound like it's much

Cheers guys. The 1500rpm is from memory, it may not be that high, it was just higher than normal tickover for a few minutes, and it doesn't do it anymore. I would have thought that the cold weather would make autochoke all the more important, which is why I noticed its absence.

Will speak to my local indy and report back.
