Have fitted the Dash cam I had on my E39 . Using a 12v-5v (fuse protection ) unit that sits inside the panels .Any clues as to what wires to tap into ? Was thinking the sunroof must be "switched"? etc .Thanks

Cheers for Diagram . Excuse the question, but i cannot locate terminal 30g on the diagram around the roof control switch etc. This method would see my Dash cam working for that 16 mins after ignition is turned off . Could there be a definite supply that turns off with ignition in that panel or the reading light panel etc .Or do I need to run a cable down to the dash fuse area . I might not be understanding the "sleep mode" .Does this cover the whole car ? !

Now when you say it the buttons don't have actual supply voltage, the sunroof module is in the trunk.

Light panel has continuous terminal 30 supply.

If you have rain sensor it has terminal 30G from fuse F55.

If you want a true switched supply (terminal R or terminal 15) it's not found near there.
