has anyone changed these on an E39,i have quite a lot of play on my steering rack

Done them on other BMWs, they screw in as shown here http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=DT62&mospid=47546&btnr=32_1178&hg=32&fg=10

I use a big pair of "nut-buster" pliers to loosen and tighten them.

Also they didn't do a 2004 530d e39????? :confused
