Have a 54 plate 318 convertible.

Water is somehow getting into the boot and soaking the floor.

The sides are not wet.

The car has been to BMW several times and they have "fixed" it on each occassion.

The seals have been replaced apparently.

Anyone any idea what the problem is and how to fix it?

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Take the covers off the rear lights in the boot. Close the boot, soak the rear light area with a watering can. Open the boot and check for water ingress from the rear light seals. Start with the simple stuff first.

Do you want to find the problem or not ? Lol.

If you trust BMW do a good job, why ask here? You could always ask BMW again.

Surely its worth trying what Steve says, save yourself some money ? Will only take 5 minutes too.

BMW will most likely do what 90% of other garages do, throw a apprentice in the boot and then hose the car down while he has a good look around with a torch.

If you are really technical you can use ultra violet water and a special torch :hihi....................:cool

Do you have a hard top on the car??????????
