I had a few issues with my diamond key a while back. It started having problems with the lock / unlock functions. The distance it unlocked the car from got shorter and shorter until it no longer worked. Then after about 1 month the key no longer started the car. It put the lights on the dash, it turned the engine. Butt the car never started.
I had to use the 1 spare I had. (this was not a remote one) I ordered a new vl2020 Panasonic battery in preparation, as I thought the battery may be dead. Opened up the key and tested the battery inside. It reads 3v....

So I am now at a loss.. Any ideas?

Got central locking working. I just programmed it. Not checked if it will start the car though. What do I use the seal the key back up?
