I have now had the car since the end of the summer and an INSPECTION is imminently due.

The car has a full service history last 4 or so stamps from an indy.

My car has done 120k.

I have been reading lots about the auto transmission fluid and dont know whether to get it changed or not, thoughts please?

Since I have had the car the thermostat has been changed with a coolant change so thats been done, what should I do at this service, here is my list so far;

Oil/filter
Air filter
Pollen filter
Fuel Filter

Should I change the oil breather?
Anything else I should do?

yes definately change the oil breather. if your going to keep the car, then get the gearbox serviced. if your selling it soonish, then i would leave it alone.

Another quick one, as the BM interval is 15k which is way too long what do ppl advise on oil changes. The car has covered 120k and I do 60 miles a day 90% of that motorway driving. I have read on here others who change at 6k, is that excessive, I will continue to use fully synth BMW LL04 oils.

If you aim for 8k changes you'll probably get through 2 per year which will still be double BMW SIA interval :thumbsup

edit: or what Will says :rofl
