Started up yesterday and a sound like a slipping fanbelt was coming from my engine.

Its going in for a service in a month or so, do you think I should ask them to check it out?

(its a 53 plate 545i)

What makes you think it's the Aux belt? Squeek type sound?

I would say without a doubt, I'd even suggest getting it looked at earlier for piece of mind if it's not getting serviced for a month+

Especially if you are going to be doing a few miles in that time
