The original ones are enamel and you can see the metal dividing the propeller clearly.. I bought a cheap one once, they are a thin sheet of metal with the badge screen printed on it.. Looks good from a distance, but easily marked and ultimately dented. A genuine one is about £20+vat from ECP, this one does look quite good though, just got to figure out if it's worth the punt for a fiver.:thumbsup

I bought some carbon fibre ones previously that I recently returned due to quality. They were pretty good quality but just not that of the original (I should have known that - duh). These adverts on e-bay are saying they are genuine BMW badges with part numbers... do you think I should just take that with a pinch of salt:confused?
