when I start the car sometimes it turns over everytime on the number sometimes starts on the nail other times it takes a while to start.
also I've noticed that It does this little more when Its warm.
No warning lights though !!! its puzzling please help

since I have had this problem i've had a new alternator fitted the crank sensor has been replaced also the thermostat but with no difference !!!

please help

can you replicate the problem at will?
next time you think it may do it...turn the key so the fuel pump starts priming,but dont turn it past that point for a couple of seconds.
it may just be low fuel pressure.
also...have you had the obd interrogated for any fault codes stored therein?

change the camshaft sensor.. have exact problem.. it only happens when car is warm

Have the BMW fault codes been read as 328mark mentions? it could well be a cam sensor fault, they are common on the m54 engine. You should also check the engine breather/vacuum and induction pipes out for any splits

hi i have just got a bmw 320d very very nice car love it but it is killing me wen i got it the guy sed it needs a boost presure sensor so i went to bmw an got a boost presure converter still no power so took it to a bmw specialist he sed the vac pipes mite need changeing so i done that still the same then he sed the turbo is worn so i changed that still the same so i changed the cam shaft breather fuel filter,oil filter , oil, egr valve,air filter,a new catalick convertor new turbo pipes that lead to the inter cooler new diesel pump and the dam car is still the same well a little bit better just i have to put my foot to the floor to pull off and if im in second gear an the car is at a 1000rpm i have to put my foot to floor well need to put foot to floor all the time please can anyone help me its driveing me mad and slow hahaha....
