Evening all, I've tried a search but could only find one thread which mentions them. I'd just like some feedback from anyone who has or has had one of these in the link below fitted, do they improve the throttle response like they claim? Finding it hard to get used to the delay of the electronic throttle, especially after being used to an Impreza which was instant acceleration. Thanks in advance.:)

Hi,

For a FULL Reset I would complete the procedure stated above but,,

hold down the throttle pedal (at full) whilst turning the key without starting the car for 10 seconds, then as you turn the key into the off position for the next stageof the procedure, release the throttle.

In the next five starts, each time you go for a drive, the car will learn to respond to your driving style. So if you drive it aggressively, the car will learn to respond quicker..

Hope that helps. Try and give it a go.

You should notice faster gear changes for auto's certainly.

As for the sprintbooster, you really have to talk to someone who has one, better still if they will let you, have a go in their motor. No extra BHP, this is true, but instant acceleration....... YES

:thumbsup

What about an 04 318ti? It feels DBW to me.

Felt instant difference when I fitted to my 316ti mate

throttle reset will work on your car , tried it a few times on mine, not sure if it made a difference or if it was mind games tbh.
