heyy everyone

i got in my car yesterday and drive it for a few miles to look at the dash and see that the airbag light is on (i believe it's the drivers airbag) - is this something that a novice can fix? or does it need to go to a BMW garage?

and also, the diagram on the dashboard displaying the car is telling me that my boot is open, i can't actually open it with the key(i can't hear the motor even go) and i push the release button under the lid anyway and nothing happens, however i can turn the key in the lock and open it, but no matter what i do the light is still there on the dashboard...would this be why my indicators aren't flashing when i lock the car too?

has anyone else had this problem? - it all happened at once!

Hi. The airbag light is a common fault, sensor on passenger seat goes faulty, I cleared mine using the £9.99 bypass unit, or if you don't want to cut wires you could by the unit that is plug and play-

could be a broken wire where the loom enters the boot...or a problem with the micro switch in the lock itself.
tough one for you to diagnose...you could try a lock from a breakers...or engage an auto sparky

Is There Anywhere Online I Can Get The Parts For The Boot? Micro Switch Or New oot Looms? :S
