Hi guys, i'm new here, i found that forum very interesting and i decide to join!
I have a BMW E46 316ti and i would like to remap the ecu by my self. I hear about a KWP2000 interface, but as far i know it's not compatible with my cars ecu. I hear also about a BDM100 but i don't know how it works. Does any body know about this DBM100 interface module?

You have to take out ur ECU and BDM the chip... :jaw-dropping


Get some one else to do it ..

I really wouldnt do it by yourself. If anything goes wrong and you need a new £900 ecu, you will not be happy. I have used KWP2000 in the past and to be honest, it was pants! Its not worth messing about Not at the price of a decent remap these days. You would prob end up paying the , if not more for the interface and software.

Thanks guys! I'll think twice know to do it by my self, but in case that i will try to do it, do i have to construct a map from the begining or i can find ready maps to install.
