When hard cornering lately, my e46 325i lets the traction control cut in and I get severe under steer and the triangle flashes at me. Having owned the car for nearly 3 years and driven it round the same bends I know that something has gone tits up. :eek

Traction

Brand new tyres on the rear and fronts still have a couple of thousand miles on them

tyres do go 'off' slightly as they get near to the end of their life.
fronts got a couple of mm left yet car understeers?...time for new front tyres i reckon.
also,the pressures may be out since the weather warmed up slightly.

Drifting

Although the fronts still have meat on them it does feel bloody awful as if I can drift the car, but the tyre pressures were checked on wednesday and all was ok, but thanks for your input

You could as a free check/possible fix swap the wheels front to rear and see if that solves it, :thumbsup

Give it a try and if that doesn't make a difference then we will have to dig deeper

would the rear trailing arm bushes have this effect if worn greatly.
