Took the car in for it's first service since I bought it 5 months ago. Complete service, oil, plugs, fuel filter and changed the oil pressure sensor as it was playing up.

The garage also changed the exhaust camshaft sensor as it was coming up with an error on their diagnostic machine.

Anyways wow! The car felt fast before but it feels soooooo much more responsive and has a lot more grunt under 3000 rpm all the way till redline. Good times :thumbsup

usually happens with an exhaust one gone..inlet tends to give starting and actual running missfire issues..

Yeah it was the exhaust camshaft sensor, I didn't realise it would make that much of a difference but it has

a lesson for M54 engined owners with Vanos seal paranoia that is spread by certain individuals with a vested interest in flogging the seals in the first place..
