Yet another problem with the car (although I'm not sure I'd class this one as wear and tear)...

I've just noticed now that its getting wramer that it won't blow cold air onto my feet....even with the air con on (its luke warm then rather than toasty warm). With the air con off, if you take teh feet blowers off, the warm ari comes through the dash vents (although not if the air con is on).

The dial in the centre of the dash that controls the mix of air is on the coldest setting (three blue dots) and this still happens.

Anyone got any ideas? Will it be linked to the main control unit (the hedgehog?) or is it something more expensive to fix?

Is the Air Con warm from all of the vents? if so then you most likely need a Re-Gas, when the Air con isn't used the seals dry out causing the gas to weep out.

No the warm air is only on your feet.....it worse when the air con is of, they'll be normal air coming from the top vents but really warm onto my feet.

I'd get the fault codes read for the heater, a good BMW specialist or main dealer will be able to do it for you.

Can you hear any flaps moving when you adjust the temperature or air flow?
