Morning guys.

I bought myself a CANOBD2 U581 hand scanner a while back.

I plugged it in this morning in my short drive to work to pull some figures off and check that they indicate normal operation as I am sure the car feels a bit lumpy at the moment.

I am not sure what all of the readings are - maybe someone can help? I have put in brackets what I think they mean if I have an idea, but would welcome comments on the readings.

Fuel Sys 1 = N/A
Fuel Sys 2 = N/A
Coolant 89 degrees centigrade (obvious)
ST FTRM1 = 0.7% (Short fuel trim 1)
LT FTRM1 = 0.7% (Long fuel trim 1)
ST FTRM2 = 0.7% (Short fuel trim 2)
LT FTRM2 = 0.7% (Long fuel trim 2)
Engine RPM = 8291 (seems way too high - I went nowhere near this engine speed today - or is it a historic figure saved in the ECU?)
Veh. Speed = 129KMH (I overtook a van today so this could be true)
Ign Advanced = 0.5 degrees (Ignition advance - when warm) (Before starting engine this was at 6 degrees)
IAT = 89 degrees centigrade (Intake air temperature? - again, seems high compared with coolant temp)
MAF (gm/sec) = 331.640
Abslt TPS = 50.5%
Second Air = Error (Is this due to the fault code I have on the heating circuit for the 2nd 02 sensor?)
02S11 = 0.645v 9.3% (o2 sensor readings.....)
02S12 = 0.645v 9.3% (o2 sensor readings.....)
02S21 = 0.645v 9.3% (o2 sensor readings.....)
02S22 = 0.645v 9.3% (o2 sensor readings.....)
OBD2 Stat = N/A

Thanks

Rob

89 degrees could be fahrenheit (does it actually say celsius?), which would be ~30 Celsius I reckon. With heat soak that could be an accurate IAT.

Thanks - there was something strange about the figures. When I got home I left the engine running, plugged the unit in and a few values changed. I will post them up later.....

That's not the live data stream, for those readings(going on the revs) they would be the readings when the fault occurred (Freeze Frame Data).
