Recently my 320d has started to turn over on the starter alot more before it eventually starts and runs.
The glow plug light comes on and goes off as it should but then when i turn the key it takes around 5 seconds till it fires when before it was straight away.
Do i need a new set of glow plugs or has anyone had the same problem any help will be good cheers.

If you are on your original glow plugs then yes for sure I would change them out. :thumbsup

You can test the glow plugs in situ using a test light.

Had a similar problem with mine at the start of the year, took advice from an indy and they suggested looking at the battery. So checked it with a multimeter. Ordered uprated battery over net and then problem sorted.
Worth checking as it's cheaper than glow plugs. I've forgotten what voltage you should be getting but search on here and you'll find the details.
