I hope this is in the correct section

I have a 2001 318ci e46

I downloaded the latest maps and they work but the display was still the same (no postcode search)

I burnt v 22_1 and updated, I then burnt a cdkey and got it working again.

Trouble is it's worse than ever, mine has the 4-3 screen and I think it's the firmware for 16-9 AND no postcode search

Can I put a later one on such as 27?

Can someone advise what I have done wrong please
