Hello folks, the washer jet on the back window hasn't been working for ages. There's screen-wash in the bottle and I only today saw where the jets actually are, tucked away on the wiper arm! Any basic stuff I can do to try to fix it without having to rip too much of the tailgate apart :confused Thanks.

can you hear the pump run when you activate the system?

Yes can defo hear it trying to work....

next step is to check the pump is actually moving water...there is normally a very fine strainer in the resevoir,that severely impedes flow if blocked.

How can I check if the pump is moving water? I can hear it working, so I guess it's not an electrical problem.

you'll need to disconnect the hose from the jet at the rear screen...if water flows you'll know its a blocked jet.
if no water flows the remove the hose from the pump and recheck
