I recently purchased a 728i sport 2001 model with the wide screen sat nav / tv. I have no sound at all. pdc sound is fine, satnav, tv, radio etc goes off. I have no sound for 3 days now. sometimes it comes back. Any help will be appreciated

Is this the system that has a built in amplifier?

When the sound goes off it goes off on all channels, is that correct?

How often did the sound go off before losing it completely?

I had the same problem with my 735i last year (also not long after I bought it) and it turned out I needed a new amp. Mine was boot mounted, so I'm not sure if yours is the same.
