Morning fellow BMW lovers.

I recieved my Peake R5FCX this morning, so straight away I was out on my drive reading my fault codes.
Well, there were none!!!! Tried it again and again, nothing. So I started the engine and tried the unplug of the Vanos Solenoid valve to confirm that it is my Vanos seals that have been causing the problems. Low and behold, no dropping of revs which does confirm my Vanos seals are shot.
I then switched the engine off and plugged the Vanos Solenoid back in.
Plugged my Peake back in and read the fault codes again. Only one thrown up - Vanos Solenoid because I unplugged it!! Cleared that and tried again. No codes!
So, it seems my car was completely clear of fault codes which pleases me no end.
So now I know, there is nothing wrong with my beloved 328i Touring other than the Vanos seals, which will be done as soon as I have the funds.
