I have tried looking under oil but can't find any info

I have bought 8 litres of fully synthetic castrol magnetec 5-30w is this ok to use or do i have to go for 0-40w

it would be my luck to do damage to the engine so i thought i'd better check :confused

Magantec 5W-30 A1 is also suitable for use in other manufacturers fuel efficient modern gasoline and diesel engines including inter-cooled and turbo-charged and where the manufacturer recommends ACEA A1/B1, A5/B5 or API SL or ILSAC GF-3.

Meets Ford WSS-M2C913-C, WSS-M2C913-B and WSS-M2C913-A specifications.

looks like i need to take the oil back

so still no mention of BMW so still not sure :frown
Ford spec magnatec also mentioned in these 2 threads, obviously it will do the job being fully synthetic
but how long it will continue to lubricate as BMW approved oil is anyones guess, anyway heres the threads :thumbsup

i'll take them back tomorrow and get some bmw approved LL01 or LL04 :cool
