hi, I’m new to here today but thought it was about time to ask for some advice if anyone would be so kind to give it, i brought a 330d about a year ago and had it sprayed cause it was vandalised with the previous owner, but it’s never revved past 4000rpm and now the inlet manifold has blown out and it’s almost impossible to find one at a reasonable price. So what I’m asking is would the blow in the manifold and limited revs be connected and is a 2002 manifold the same as a 2000?

They could indeed be connected as it'll be spewing a gas/air mix out of the split manifold rather than into the engine for combustion.

Manifold could be same, I think they changed from the M57 to the M57N around Aug 2002 but even then they might be compatible,
have you tried forum vendors Quarry Motors for a manifold? :thumbsup
