Hi, I'm new to this forum, this is my first post and probably going to be my new home whilst at work.

I have a 330d and it has a indent on the accent on the right rear wing. I was going to pop it back out through the boot. However, I'm not sure if it is easily done or not. Is the boot lining stitched in or cliped in and even then is it easy to get at the body work above the petrol cap.

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Tom

Hello and welcome Tom :)...the boot lining is clipped by 1/2 turn plastic screws. Is it possible you can take a picture of this dent? Could be a question of paintless dent repair as I've had these carried out before :thumbsup

I can tomorrow mate if i don't get it sorted, it's literally been pushed in by the weight of a person, no creases or folds just a gentle dent in the accent of the wing.

I put a dent above the fuel filler on my last e46. This was caused by me and an extended petrol pump hose pulling the trigger back into the panel by my own stupid ham fistedness. You can get to the panel, I got most of it out myself, but called in a specialist dent remover to finish the job off, took him about 10 minutes.
