Hey guys i just had a quick question;
A few weeks back my car got into an accident, some idiot took me out on uxbridge M40 roundabout he destroyed my driver side door. He decided to go privatly and fix it for me so he got my garage to get me a new door and resprayed the full works but obviously my car now has a new sprayed panel and you can clearly tell that it is not orginal when iam driving around. There was nothing i can do about that as my car is 10years old so i definatly cant get the factory paint it left with and cant match new pain to the bodywork, so now iam driving in a car with diffrent panels and to me thats unberable i want to fix it as soon as i can. Now iam not sure what my options are so far all i can think off is going to a scrapyard finding a car like mine and do a swap with the scrap yard but iam not sure if that will work as the scrap yard might not want the doorthey just want to sell. Now i just wanted to get your views on what you would do if you were in my place.

Thanks for your time :D

well being a car valeter i would flat and polish, or just a full mop. with a flat and polish you gotta no what ya doin as you can go thru the paint but in the end all your paint work will look the nuts. and with a full mop you cant really get it wrong if you know how to use a mop and g3 cutting compound and again paintwork will look sweet. its hard and long work to get it 100%.

im not to sure how much it would cost, go to ya local valet garage and ask them how much it would be for a full mop and polish. your abit to far from me really. or a bodyshop and ask how much for a flat and polish down that side, if ya like me very fussey i would have to get the whole car done lol. a flat and polish with get any small swirls out and light scrathes out its the first thing i did myself when i got my bm. it looked like the whole car just had respray.
