Hi just a quick question, I am replacing the original bmw head unit with my aftermarket sony head unit. Will the bmw disk changer whats in the boot be compatable with my sony head unit? Thanks

You will have to look for an adapter lead compatible with the M-bus.

You can control the OEM Changer with anything other than an OEM head unit. You can go the other way round, but if you replace the head unit, replace the CD Changer or remove it and sell it.
