Im guessing you mean to clean the actual MAF itself?
(the round tube with a plug connector and gubbins on the outside of it..and a mesh inside?)

If so, then you can remove the MAF from the intake system, carefully.

And then buy some IPA (iso propyl alcohol) and pour a decent amount into a large pyrex dish.

Soak the MAF in it so that the sensor wire and insides get cleaned. Gently bathe it basically.

Then after a few minutes put the MAF on some newspaper or similar and allow the IPA to evaporate.

You can fit the MAF back once its totally dried after say a few hours.

Why do you want to clean it though? have you had a fault code for the MAF?

yes have engine management light on.
Are you just guessing it will be a dirty MAF? if yes then you really should have the fault codes read for the engine as you are clutching at straws and from experience it will not be a dirty MAF

:thumbsup
