Hi Guys,

Been having a few problems with my indicators recently, basically they go crazy and flash like mad rather than the standard rate.

Having tried various methods to solve the problem, I believe I have found the answer. It appears that at some stage someone has re-wired the o/s indicator but not left enough slack in the wiring, where the wire comes out of the connector on the bulb holder it has been stretched at a harsh angle causing the insulation to become worn.

Now I am happy re-wiring it myself, but how do I what cabling to use? Sorry if this seems a bone question!

i would just pop to halford and get a small reel of wire for a couple of quid. The wire reels say what they can be used for so get one suitable for lighting.

Thanks Eddie, was just worried that they might be different amps or voltage cable etc, didn't want to bugger my electrics all together!

As Eddiee46 has said.. Use the same guage wire as OE and you won't go far wrong.
If your soldering or using electrical connectors to install. Make sure you insulate and protect all bare wires to avoid moisture and electrical shorts etc.
