I've just bought a 528i Sport manual whch is a 2000 car,and I've noticed that the trottle pedal is quite stiff to press. I've only ever driven this e39 so I have nothing to compare it to. But it is stiffer than I would expect.

I havent looked at the pedal or the throttle body yet but I wanted to know if this model has a cable operated throttle body or is it fly by wire?

If it is a cable operated throttle, I guess it will be the cable causing this issue.

Got it in one. Bowden cable...and it does go stiff after some time. Changing it will make the pedal feather light again :thumbsup.

You seem to be in the know.
I'll get one on order.
The car is really nice with low miles but there is a few small issues which I need to address so I'll post them as and when I look at them.
I'm a bit anal with my cars so I want to get everything right with it.
