whenever i get in and out my car my brake dust sheilds squeak its sooooo bloody annoying:frown is there a cure for this:confused

You on about the s*** shield on the inside of the brake disc?

If so, remove the wheel and just ease it back a touch further:thumbsup

I don't think it is the shields Craig...probably your parking brake pads rubbing inside the rear disks because they are dirty. Try getting in and out of the car with the hand brake off to confirm this.

Check the lining condition with the discs off. You might just need compressed air to blow the dust away, then a clean up of the inside of the discs :thumbsup

Clean the rear handbrake shoes e.t.c out with some brake cleaner and then copper slip the back plates where the shoes sit against and the handbrake pivots e.t.c.

I wouldn't blow the dust out as it could be bad for health.You ever met a mechanic that lived till a very old age :hihi

Yes Craig, the rear discs hold the shoes inside them.
