I have a 1999 318i and the airbag light just came on, what does this mean and how can I get the light off?

Hopefully it's something simple like a occupancy sensor issue or wiring to the pretensioners etc.

Unfortunately it will require a trip to a dealer / specialist to read the codes and reset the light.
