Cars front was parked over the spill..

Car wont select any gears or drive.. well it will do both but its revving like hell..

ideas?

No fluid = no drive. Find the leak, plug it and refill the auto box. At worst you'll have spent a few quid on fluid, at best the box will work again. Worth a try!

That fits, if the cooler has been punctured, it'll lose drive as the fluid is used inside in a number of different ways.
I can't see it being anything more drastic than a new pipe and new fluid.

Don't try to drive it in the current condition though, you may do more harm, but generally I'd imagine you'd get away with that.

It mightn't be that bad.

If leak is under the FRONT of the car, the leak was probably from the transmission oil cooler.

If you are "lucky" - find and repair the leak, top up the tranny with the correct ATF and away you go!
