So came back to my car after work last night, and my remote didn't do anything when i pressed the red button.

Drove home with th e lights flashing etc.

Now i have removed my glovebox and took the unit out. I need to know which wires i need to short to disalarm the system?

I found contradicting info. One says pin 5 and 6 to lock, other says pins 1 and 6. And where does the numbering begin? Am i right in thinking it is the long two rowed plug i am need?

Disconected the battery and alarm went off again. very silently though. So back up battery is dieing. When alarm stop screaming, there were 3 beeps with few seconds between each other. Is that indicating fault?

This is driving me crazy now!

I wish you all to have a shit day at work, the when you come back your alarm fail, drive home with your alarm making your ears bleed, then spend 3 hours in the morning trying to sort it out while alarm is screaming at you at most of of the time.

I appreciate you were desperate (6 posts between 8:24 and 10:10) but I was the first to reply to you and all I got was sarcasm. Understandably that doesn't show you in a good light and others were happy to say what I was feeling at the time.

That said, I'm glad you got sorted and my guide has been updated with your info to help others.
