[louie 318ti sport]

Can anybody tell me what this part is?? Unfortunately, my girlfriend had an argument with a speed bump and this fell off. What is it- is there any purpose for it as it doesn't seem to mount anywhere!
it looks like an exhaust bracket but i can find the mounting point to the body... any help would be greatly appreciated!

Will be fine :thumbsup

It's a vibration damper, helps to stop the exhaust resonating.
