I take it the battery is in the engine bay so here goes-take headunit out and connect rca to the inputs you want and run down drivers side trim or under carpet, run remote wire from headunit to boot down passenger side.take out glovebox and run power wire from battery through the grommet you should be able to see and feed to boot down passenges side to the boot.connect to the amp and ground wire to good earth point and insert fuse in power wire and hey presto.remembes to check everything is correct and the live wire is not chafing on metal

What type of Head-Unit (HU) do you have because if its a standard BMW one chances are you wont have any RCA outputs or indeed a remote wire, if thats the case you'll have to do it the 'other' way.

You can get connections for RCA inputs into a standard HU and the IGN live going to the HU can be used as a remote wire.....AFtermarket HU's sometimes have RCA outputs and again the IGN live ging to it can still be used as the remote wire
