Hi all,
I've got a 98 318i, completely original, and I'm looking at changing out the rear axle (subframe, trailing arms, control arms, discs & calipers, spring mounts etc..) as one unit from a breaker.
Currently I've only got drums on the rear and some rusted in, broken abs sensors, so the drumss and arms will be going.
I've found whole axles dropped out for £250-£300, but my diff and shafts are fine so changing individual components remains an option.
I would love to hear from anyone who's bought polybushed subframes and any other prepped components to see if that's a good alternative?

I dont have the capacity to press bushings, and I'd like to keep the parts OEM where possible (besides the bushings), if anyone has experience with refurbished subframes or drum to disc retrofit advice generally I would love to hear from you!
