Hi All
I have an annoying squeak coming from the back of my car. (1997 328i sport) Any advice on how i pinpoint the squeak will be appreciated.

hello mate
if you bounce the car up and down at the rear does it make it noise, if so it could be rear shock mounts

Or it could be bearings,diff.
Get someone else to drive it while you sit in the back listening is one of the easiest ways-at least it will tell the general direction the sound is coming from.
To check bearing lift the rear end and check for play in the wheels :thumbsup
