Was thinking of wiring up some 5w bulbs into the fogs and having them as drl's (but also keeping the fog lights) any thoughts? Also did the e36 have drl's for foreign markets? If yes where were they placed?

DRL's only look good on newer cars with modern led lighting imo

true, the LED's are more suited to daylight as they are brighter,

A normal bulb looks pretty dull, or you cant even see it in sunshine

deffo be illigal over here to have the ambers on all the time,

i belive alot american cars runn with the indicators solid
I think it will be the same principle a with trucks, your allowed to show white at the front, yellow on the side as in side markers and red at the rear. Don't the e60 have the amber lights in the headlights lit up with side lights? I do agree the usa spec ones look pants on an e46 :hihi.

One thing i did with my 320ci se was wire up the angles as Drl, took an igniton feed from t:the ecu plug :thumbsup
