Hi all

ok so today i have replace4d my tds's injector pump, unfortunately the manual i have foung on the internet mentions 'static pump timing' but does not describe how to carry out this task. can anyone help?

hi

its a Bosch, i have read other threads on this forum that mention this pump is 'coded to the car ECU' I have spoken to diesel Bob today and he says this is not the case, anybody have any other information on this?

Well we had a e34 diesel(same engine as e36) in that the engine got changed and it wouldn't start, found out the pump was coded and changed the pump and it fired up, so try getting the pump timed up then see if it goes, if it doesn't and the system is bled of air then you can tell diesel Bob he's wrong :D

What exactly are you doing/was the problem/have you done?
