Hello there gents.

I want to paint my side mouldings gloss black, now ive tested on the toe cover i just sanded and painted and the shine and paint seems to be fine am i to believe that no primer or laquer would be required ?

You need to rough it up and apply plastic primer. If you don't the paint will flake off within a matter of days :thumbsup

I can't say about clear coat as I don't know exactly which paint your using, but gloss in the name normally means you don't need clear coat.

As the man said you need to use plastic primer and no need for a clear coat but you can add one if you want
