hi all... wonder if anyone can clarify this for me. i am having to replace my prop shaft. i have sourced a used item and plan to fit it or have it fitted this week. i have been researching the process and have read on a number of occassions about people having their porpshaft balanced. is this something that needs to be done?

thanks all

i see on the realoem site they mention two different weights and clearly state 'if needed'. i wondered if they were balanced specifically to each car, that would however seem a little drastic. no mechanics haev mentioned it, its just something ive readon the usa forums.
