Hello, another question!

I have just aquired a 318ti compact, I know there rear wheel drive, but the back end is more that lively in the wet! This is my first rear wheel drive car and too be honest i was a little scared! Is this common?

Yes best bet is too upgrade your tyres-this helps a lot and to take it easy in the wet.You will get used to it but know that this is all too common with rear wheel drive cars :thumbsup

So bigger wheels/tyres and take it steady! i'll see what i can do on the wheels, but for taking it steady I can't make any promises!

Yeah i had my first RWD at 19 - a carlton GSI3000 :thumbsup That thing scared the hell out of me a few times when i first got it :hihi

I have had RWD since I trashed my FWD mazda 626 when I was 17-didnt make any sense having all that power going through the front wheels with the fact they had to steer too I learned my lesson the hard way and I mean very hard way so have stuck to RWD since as they have better traction and you get the feel for them very well,once used to RWD you will never look back although 4wd is also an option.:thumbsup

Nah its too boring i'm using my mates au*i coupe quattro at the moment - its too safe!! :hihi
