hi does anybody know where else the 3g ews alarm module might be fitted, its not behind the glove box where its supposed to be.

Sometimes can be bolted to the A pillar under the dash to the left of the glovebox

thanks Ronnie thats where i thought i was supposed ro be next to th abs module but its not there!or loose anywhere else behind the glove box. its definatly still somewhere in the car cos its was still active until i dissabled it with the code.

thanks Ronnie i will look for that, i got the total bmw guide and another on line showing a different type of module where you flick over the switch to learn the new remote. when i took the glovebox out i found the ews control unit shown on your drawing (No.1), now i will look for the transmitter unit (No.3), do you know if this type can be matched to new fobs myself or will i have to take it to a stealer?
